Waaxaa Foundation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Officer to support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the Foundation’s healthcare and community development programs.
Key Responsibilities
Design, coordinate, and implement programs and projects
Monitor program activities to ensure timely and effective delivery
Prepare program plans, budgets, and progress reports
Coordinate with partners, stakeholders, and field teams to ensure program success
Track program outcomes and support impact evaluation
Maintain accurate program documentation and records
Support compliance with donor and organizational requirements
Identify challenges and recommend improvements to program delivery

Eligibility:

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Project Management, Development Studies, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in program coordination, project management, or NGO operations
Experience working in the health or healthcare sector is an added advantage
Strong organizational, planning, and reporting skills
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
