Django Developer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Django Developer to join our dynamic team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development, API design, and database management. You will work closely with the frontend and product teams to build scalable, high-performance applications for enterprise and SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Django and Django REST Framework.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services.
• Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and Django/Django REST Framework.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and database optimization.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of version control tools (Git/GitHub/GitLab).

Eligibility:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years proven experience working as a Django Developer.
• Experience working in Agile teams is an added advantage.
